Yoga Classes

At the OM Tree, we believe in flexibility, not only in body and mind but in our schedule as well. There are many styles of yoga classes available within today's yoga craze. Not entirely sure which one is right for you? Read the article Styles of Yoga for some insight.

The format in which we follow is in the style of a Hatha Yoga practice. Our goal is to help one to first and foremost take some time out to nuture their body, mind and spirit connection while calming the entire system, physically, emotionally and energetically.

In addition to these tools it's also essential to focus on muscles, postural alignment, the breath and all general physical sensations. We strive to have everyone walk away with a sense of refresh and rejuvination! Please refer to the schedule to find a class time and place that suits you.

Drop-In Classes
Drop- in yoga classes are suitable for those who may be new to yoga or for those that have experience. There is no commitment necessary from week to week, however please keep in mind that we do have class passes available to provide a discount for a semi-commitment!

Private Yoga
Private yoga sessions are one-on-one and much like personal fitness training. These sessions are tailored to your specific needs which allow you to work privately with a yoga teacher to create a practice that makes sense for your body and your level of experience. <read more>

Semi Private Yoga
Semi-private sessions are the best of both worlds. You get a private class for you and up to 5 friends tailored to the desires of the group.

Intro Yoga
Designed for those who are interested in Yoga but do not know the first thing about it or where to begin. During this introductory to yoga we will begin the exploration into body, breath awareness, basic asanas (physical postures), meditation practices and general yoga terminology. This class is also offered as a Private or Semi-Private class.

Kid's & Family Yoga
On March 2nd of 2008 I added Kid's Yoga certification to my repetiore. One of my goals is to have an afterschool program for kids ages 3-6 and 7-9. If you have an interest or any questions, please email me.

Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one. A small supply of mats is available for use free of charge.
